About Me

Cloud professional with five years of client-facing experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across compute, networking, data, security, and platform engineering — targeting Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, and Cloud Engineer roles

I design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions that help organizations modernize infrastructure, improve reliability, optimize costs, and accelerate business outcomes.

With a background in Computer Science and cloud architecture, my focus areas include cloud architecture, infrastructure design, customer discovery, solution design, cloud migration, automation, security, high availability, disaster recovery, observability, and performance optimization. I hold the AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) and ITILยฎ 4 Foundation certifications, and am completing hands-on cloud infrastructure training at Per Scholas in Seattle.

I build hands-on projects that reflect real-world enterprise environments: highly available cloud platforms, multi-account governance foundations, event-driven serverless applications, and infrastructure automation pipelines. All are documented to Well-Architected standards with architecture diagrams, design rationale, and trade-off analysis.

I enjoy working across both technical and customer-facing environments. Before transitioning into cloud, I spent five years in client-facing roles that built the discovery, communication, and stakeholder management skills that great Solutions Architects rely on every day.

Professional Background

Five years of customer-facing professional experience built a skill set that transfers directly into Solutions Architecture and cloud consulting.

Before transitioning into cloud computing, I spent five years working directly with customers through high-stakes, complex situations: as a Customer Solutions Associate at Whole Foods and Instacart, and as an Insurance Adjuster at Pilot Catastrophe Services. These roles required structured discovery, multi-stakeholder coordination, risk assessment, technical documentation, regulatory compliance, and clear communication under pressure.

The professional skills I developed are not incidental to Solutions Architecture. They are core to it. Great Solutions Architects understand customers, communicate trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and translate business requirements into technical decisions. That is exactly what I trained for.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ

Customer Communication

Explained complex technical assessments to policyholders, non-technical customers, and executive stakeholders in plain language that enabled confident decisions.

๐Ÿค

Stakeholder Management

Coordinated across policyholders, engineers, contractors, attorneys, and internal teams simultaneously, managing competing priorities and conflicting information.

โš–๏ธ

Risk Assessment

Evaluated complex risk scenarios, identified exposure, assessed liability, and made structured decisions with incomplete information under time pressure.

๐Ÿ“„

Technical Documentation

Produced clear, defensible written assessments and reports that met regulatory standards and communicated findings to multiple audiences.

๐Ÿ”

Incident Investigation

Conducted structured investigations, gathered evidence from multiple sources, and produced root cause determinations. The same methodology applies to cloud incident post-mortems.

๐Ÿง

Decision Making

Made high-stakes decisions affecting customers and organizations, balancing contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and business constraints simultaneously.

โฑ๏ธ

Working Under Pressure

Managed 100+ active cases simultaneously against strict SLA deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. This built the operational discipline cloud roles require.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Regulatory Compliance

Operated within strict state regulatory frameworks across TX and FL. This experience applies directly to cloud governance, compliance frameworks, and audit readiness.

๐Ÿ”„

Negotiation & Conflict Resolution

Negotiated multi-party settlements with engineers, contractors, and opposing adjusters, building the persuasion and consensus skills critical in technical consulting.
